🔗 ModCore NPC Hostage System
Bring cinematic hostage interactions to your FiveM world. The ModCore NPC Hostage System lets players capture, control, and release NPCs with immersive realism — built for QBOX, QB-Core, and ox_lib frameworks.
🎮 What It Does
This system allows players to point a weapon at an NPC, subdue them, and open a full interaction menu to manage what happens next:
Make the NPC follow you or kneel on command
Force them into vehicles or carry them in your arms
Threaten, release, or even execute them — all through the menu
NPCs panic, scream, or try to escape, depending on configuration
You can reopen the menu anytime (default key: G) to issue new commands or cancel old ones, keeping full control of your hostage scenario.
🚓 Police & Dispatch Integration
Police can’t take hostages while on duty, but they’ll sure get called when one’s taken.
The system can automatically send alerts when:
A hostage is taken or killed
The negotiation timer expires
A hostage escapes
Supports multiple dispatch systems:
✅ QB Dispatch
✅ PS Dispatch
✅ OX Dispatch
✅ CD / RC Dispatch
✅ or your own custom event/export integration
⚙️ Fully Configurable
Adjust fail and escape chances
Set negotiation timers before automatic alerts
Customize menu keybinds, notifications, and language text
Choose your preferred dispatch system or write your own
Includes a test command (
/testhostage) for quick setup checks
Everything is editable and not encrypted — your config.lua stays open for customization.
🧠 Admin & Developer Friendly
Works with both QBOX and QB-Core
Compatible with ox_lib menus
Includes full police job detection (LEOs blocked from taking hostages)
Escrow-protected where needed, but config and settings remain editable
Easy drop-in setup with clear config documentation
💥 Why Servers Love It
This isn’t just another hostage script — it’s a polished, configurable, RP-ready system that makes your world feel alive. Players can create tense, believable situations without jank or spammy controls.
